I don’t always feel like exercising. I often have conversations like this with myself:
"I don’t feel like doing Radio Taiso…"
"But you like being flexible?"
"Yes."
"And it only takes three minutes."
"Fine, I’ll do it."
Same for planks:
"I don’t feel like doing planks."
"But you like not having back pain, right?"
"Oh yeah."
"And it only takes four minutes."
"Okay, okay."
That’s the trick—**keeping it short and simple makes it easy to stay consistent.** My other workouts are just as quick:
Animal movements: 2 minutes.
Cardiovascular: 1 minute.
Strength training: 3–6 minutes.
If you look at it like this, fitness is manageable. That’s the approach I’m taking with the course I’m working on—because workouts don’t have to be long to be effective.
Oh, and my last rule? You can skip a day with no harm. Except for Radio Taiso. That’s non-negotiable. 😉
